ARTIST STATEMENT
There’s no mistaking it – ice is on the run, the result of global warming conditions that continue to alter the face of our planet at an alarming rate. Yet the continuing debate among scientists and politicians, economists and citizens around the globe produces just the opposite effect – a sluggish response to what should be a worldwide urgency of unprecedented human dimension. Water is our lifeblood, the lifeblood of our planet; like a concealed dagger, the lurking threat, unacknowledged and carelessly dismissed, could prove fatal in the end.
