La Conner, WA
Celebrating visual, literary, musical, and culinary arts, this jam-packed weekend extends from one end of town to the other, offering an arts-filled experience like no other. Home to influential NW artists and writers, such as Guy Anderson, Tom Robbins and many others, La Conner is also home to the fabulous Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA), one of my personal favorites!
If you’re looking to pick up unique pieces for your art collection, by notable Washington craft masters, you won’t find a better opportunity; work included in the exhibition is for sale only through the weekend. Then it moves on to galleries and Museum Collections, and Auction houses and beyond, so a word to the wise; he who hesitates will find he has lost.
An artists reception will be held on Friday, November 3rd from 5;30PM to 9PM, with wine and light hors d’hoeuvres served. The evening is an opportunity to meet artists and other creatives, and features live music. Visit Arts Alive La Conner for more information. Exhibition runs through the weekend only.
