Life doesn't always go the way we plan. Sometimes the wishes and dreams we pin our hopes to are impossible to achieve or simply impractical in the scheme of things. Some part of us of course knows these things, but it's human nature to hope against all hope. Hope is not a pipe dream, though reality may bite.
